Chris has been personally and now professionally working on old homes in New England for over 30 years.  His interest in renovating historic homes started during college when he spent several summers working for a few established custom home builders in Nantucket and Vermont, and this experience ultimately became a passionate side-hustle during his 25+ year finance career.  During that time, Chris developed a true appreciation for the craftmanship that went into building old houses and enjoyed the problem solving and creativity associated with a successful renovation.  He now focuses on running THB’s daily operations, business development, and collaborates on project design.  Away from work, Chris takes care of his own 300-year-old farmhouse with his wife and four kids, enjoys various activities like surfing, biking, skiing, backpacking, fishing and his weekly “old guy” hockey skate.
